food blog by Jake

What is burnt Basque?

Quite simply: a food blog!

I am from Abergavenny but have spent the vast majority of my adult life in Cardiff.

Therefore, this food blog predominantly consists of in-depth reviews of venues in the South Wales region. I do however, often venture further, and in addition will also write articles other than reviews.

I visit a variety of places. Whether it’s fine dining, street food, cafes, pop-ups, kebab houses, casual dining or fast food. There is something here for everyone!

All of my pieces/articles can be found if you scroll a little further down. The links to my social media pages (Instagram and Twitter) are available at both the top and bottom of this page.

Happy reading!
